David Dye

We hope to see many of you at David's funeral on Monday 2nd February to acknowledge the sad loss of the wonderful person that he was and to also celebrate his life and work as an artist. There have been many kind messages and wonderful photographs of David that have been sent already. David's family would like friends, colleagues and former students to feel welcome.

The funeral will take place at 3.00 PM at:
Whitley Bay Crematorium
Whitley Bay Cemetery
Blyth Road
Whitley Bay
NE26 4NH

Family and friends will be gathering after the ceremony at The Avalon Bar, 26 - 28 South Parade, Whitley Bay NE26 2RG. It is a really characterful venue and we think David would have definitely approved. It will be open (for David's wake only) from 4.00 PM and up to 9.00 PM. It is not far from the crematorium and for those needing to travel back any distance on the same day it is just a few minutes' walk from Whitley Bay Metro.
